Price guaranty

We guaranty that the price you pay is good. If you find the same wines same vintages at a cheaper price at any retail store in Austin, we will refund twice the difference.

While it is easy to find wines in the $5-$10 range, we never tasted anything decent in that price range. Whereas there are really nice bottles in the $10-20 range.

Each month, you get 3 bottles for of what we pour in the restaurant, being white, red, rosé, or sparkling. Most will be crowd pleasers but from clearly identifiable properties.

2 or 3 Bordeaux $60

Bordeaux, and mostly red Bordeaux, is core business for us. We pride ourselves in having a deep understanding of the region and we source from the biggest Bordeaux importer in the US, as well as directly with "Négociants" in France. It is not uncommon to have 2 pallets of Bordeaux delivered at WWB.

Each month, you get 3 bottles of renown

Each month, you get 3 bottles of renown Chateaux, ready to drink, with 3 to 10 years of age. Exceptionally, when we find a great deal on a nice property, we will pick only 2 bottles of higher value.

Members of vSomm enjoy a personal curating service through Virtual Sommelier service. They have full access to our sourcing options, including our purchase costs, at which they can purchase wine with a minimal mark-up.

Membership is free but we ask for yearly $1,000 down payment to be used against wine purchase.

Can I be member of more than one tier?

Absolutely YES! Tiers are not overlapping.

Can I taste the wine?

Sometimes. When we are re-stocking wine which is on our By-the-Glass list, you are welcome to pass by to try it. However, the magic of our wine club is curated wine in line with our style.

Can I exchange a bottle if I don't like the pick?

It depends. If we have inventory, if the price point is similar, if we have the time, then yes. But if you joined the club, it is because you trust us and you want to have interesting wines presented to you. This is a discovery subscription.

I found the wine cheaper, how do I get my refund?

Within a month of your delivery, you show us a proof of purchase of the same wines same vintages, and we will write you a check for twice the difference. Simple.

How can you be competitive against Costo or HEB?

First, we buy a lot, maybe not the volume of big retail chains, but certainly more than individual liquor shops. Second, we focus on human size producers who don't have the bandwidth to sell to big retail chains. In the rare occurrences where you will find our wines at Costco or Total Wine, the minimal mark-up applied to Club Members should keep our prices below. If not, please see question just above.

Do I get three different wines or three bottles of the same?

The selection is 3 different wines, which can be a mix-and-match of red-white-rose-sparkling, or all white, or all red, or 1 and 2, etc. depending on how we feel that day. This is a discovery subscription.
